If it were mine, I’d manage to kill it in under a month. I can’t even keep lucky bamboo alive, and that’s one of the easiest plants in the world to maintain.

Psythik@lemm.eeto Linux@programming.dev•Ubuntu Joins the Movement: X11 Officially Being Phased Out41·4 days agoGarbage HDR support. But I think that’s more of a KDE issue. (IDK I’m not a Linux pro)
Spez isn’t in full control. (Slimy little worm.)
Psythik@lemm.eeto Technology@lemmy.world•Google is intentionally throttling YouTube videos, slowing down users with ad blockersEnglish2·4 days agoGood to know, thanks.
I know but what you specifically want is not possible. But yet again it doesn’t matter because you don’t need a VPN when you use a Debrid service.
At this point you’re just harassing me to be a pendantic asshole. So I’m going to do what’s best for my mental health and dip out of this conversation. You are exhausting. ✌️
Psythik@lemm.eeto Technology@lemmy.world•Resurrecting a dead torrent tracker and finding 3 million peersEnglish111·4 days agoDon’t even bother. You’ll never get through to these drones.
Psythik@lemm.eeto Technology@lemmy.world•Resurrecting a dead torrent tracker and finding 3 million peersEnglish112·4 days agoYour existence is a scam.
And I’m telling you that you don’t have to if you use a Debrid service.
But if you insist: all you gotta do set it up on the DNS level. Find out the IP needed to connect to your VPN via DNS, then change your TV’s DNS servers to that IP in its internet connection settings.

Psythik@lemm.eeto Technology@lemmy.world•Google is intentionally throttling YouTube videos, slowing down users with ad blockersEnglish2·4 days agoI use SponsorBlock for more than just skipping sponsored segments. It’s also useful for skipping intros, “like and subscribe” messages, and other general annoyances in most YouTube videos. Once you get used to it, you can’t go without.
Psythik@lemm.eeto Privacy@lemmy.ml•Iran asks its people to delete WhatsApp from their devices25·4 days agoThis is also true. Doesn’t make it right. Black Lives Matter. Oppression is wrong, no matter who’s doing it, plain and simple. America is equally as fucked up.
Seriously, what a dumb rebuttal. Tankies are so fucking retarded. It legitimately upsets me how god damn stupid and ignorant you people are.
Psythik@lemm.eeto Privacy@lemmy.ml•Iran asks its people to delete WhatsApp from their devices312·4 days agoGod damn, and here I thought Americans were brainwashed. How are you completely unaware of the protests and uncovered women being kidnapped by government officials? I refuse to believe that someone can be this ignorant of world events. They’re walking around uncovered because they’re protesting the hijab mandate, you fucking donkey. But it’s still a law, designed to oppress women.
But of course you’re already aware of this, so I don’t know why I’m bothering. Nobody can be this ignorant. You’re obviously trolling.
Psythik@lemm.eeto Piracy: ꜱᴀɪʟ ᴛʜᴇ ʜɪɢʜ ꜱᴇᴀꜱ@lemmy.dbzer0.com•Has anyone pirated their internet?English8·4 days agoI miss the early days of WiFi, when routers were unsecured by default. If you lived in the city or suburbia, you were pretty much guaranteed free wifi.
Back in the 2000s I lived with my grandma for awhile, and even though she had internet, I would use the wifi from a few houses down. I only got 2 bars and was limited to 1.5Mbps, yet it was still over 5x faster than her 256Kbps DSL line.
Psythik@lemm.eeto News@lemmy.world•Why a professor of fascism left the US: ‘The lesson of 1933 is – you get out’1·4 days agoBy “low” I mean that I don’t get any sort of government assistance, not even healthcare. I consider that a rather low standard of living.
Psythik@lemm.eeto Privacy@lemmy.ml•Iran asks its people to delete WhatsApp from their devices713·4 days agoNo, Authoritarian as in not allowing women to have basic human rights.
This is why I don’t like tankies. You claim to be leftist but always support countries with right-wing policies. Lemmygrad has turned your brain to mush.
Psythik@lemm.eeto Technology@lemmy.world•Google is intentionally throttling YouTube videos, slowing down users with ad blockersEnglish2·4 days agoI would but my issue with that is that SponsorBlock doesn’t work on downloaded videos.
Psythik@lemm.eeto Technology@lemmy.world•Google is intentionally throttling YouTube videos, slowing down users with ad blockersEnglish3·4 days agoSame. When I opened the Stats for Nerds pop-up, I noticed that I was being throttled to 1500kbps. Anything above 720p was unplayable this week.
But apparently the Ublock Origin devs yet again figured out another workaround, because streaming speeds are back to normal for me as of yesterday.
My 9th grade Spanish teacher taught us how to remember how to say who/what/when/where/why in Spanish by putting it to the tune of Jingle Bells. To this day that’s the only thing I remember from Spanish class, so yes I can confidently confirm that they work:
🎵 Por qué, why,
Quando, when,
Qué, what; donde, where.
Cuantos, how much; cómo, how,
Quien está, who is there?
Cuál! 🎵🎵 Por qué, why,
Quando, when,
Qué, what; donde, where.
Cuantos, how much; cómo, how,
Quien está, who is there?
Which! 🎵
That’s the thing I hate the most about free hotel breakfast: by the time normal people get up, they’ve already shut it down for the day. I swear they do it on purpose to save money.
